The journey of a landline

I promised to keep you updated on the parody of me getting a new landline. So, it's done now. After more than a month without any contact to the outside world BT finally managed to install a landline at my new flat. Thank you BT! (In the meantime, I had several appointments where no engineer showed up, promised fault repairs, calls to BT's customer service (which service...), high mobile costs,... But anyhow, in the end I got a landline and I'm happy. No further mourning.)
