The English way of drinking

a bit more about yesterday's drinking and the english way to do. we met up with a friend to go to a pub. when we met him he had a plastic milk can with him. hm, why not. i never leave home without my beloved milk can. but at 10 in the night? i dont know if my love really is that strong. however. so we went to a pub to have some drinks there. and to get some drinks from there in that milk can. it was meant to take beer home. really. you can fill up a bottle, a can, or whatever you have (just let the beer run down your throat until your belly is filled up...) and take it home with you. i mean its necessary when you have to stop drinking at 11 (last call, dear ladies and gentlemen). this is quite funny. taking beer home from a pub in a milk can. hopefully, german health authorities dont see that. awful things could happen. the milk can might contain some deathly disease. the beer might turn bad on the way home. the beer could be mixed with left traces of milk. worst of all, the can might be so full that some beer is overflowing, dripping down onto the street and is lost forever. this would be really really the worst case. i dont even want to think about it (there is only one chance to save it which is kneeling down and licking it up). anyway, none of these things happened and we managed to bring the milk can with the beer in it home safely. thank god.
