omg, i'm disgusted from notting hill. nice movie, funny and entertaining entertainment. but deep below, how far did feminism ever go? it the end, it is all about the boy doing the right things (apart from grant's posh accent). seriously, has feminism never happened? this feels wrong, and it is wrong. not as bad as gone with the wind but still the stereotypes are there. after erin brockovish she should have done better...

well, this is what u get for not coming to the art film soc screenings!! if you had come last saturday instead of watching notting hill...you could have seen..a beautiful film called 'the pillow book'............yumm yummy blonde european male skin qua paper for a beautiful japanese female caligrapher and writer........everything BUt a stereotype. and clearly a manifesto for women's bodily & spiritual liberation!!!
