I hereby confer the degree of Master of Arts on you (and give you a sweaty handshake...)
I had graduation from my Masters in mid-July. It was my first and second to last at once. It was a warm day and very nice weather, the best there is for graduation. not even a bit of rain, amazing. my grandma with her 75 years even got on a plane for the first time and came to england (also for the first time). this was the greatest gift she could make me. she was really amazed of how beautiful england is. if she had known it she would have come much earlier. it was really nice having her here. we went to windsor and drove around the country side, including the obligatory fish'n'chips... the graduation itself was nice, the chancellor's hands were a bit sweaty and he said a few words to every graduand. Good luck with your future! i was tempted to reply 'well, you know in which subject i just graduated?!? sociology, and the only jobs such talking heads become is either taxidriver or chip shop owner...but thanks anyway' ok i didnt.

i had to be fast and his hands were really sweaty
One highlight of the day, drinking with grandma (after she cried because of happiness)
Wie jetzt? Es gibt ausser Kaffee mit Kondensmilch noch andere Sachen mit Kaffee? Und dann auch noch kalter Kaffee?!? Das kann doch gar nicht schmecken
home-made instead of paying someone to do it
Hm, these English have food as well and they know Schnitzel, interesting. thanks for the gift!
Die Neuenburg ist auch nicht viel schoener
